Being housemates for so long by now, hearing each other move around was hardly an unusual occurrence. So it never crossed his mind to check on Astre while he fixed his tea the way he liked it. As he always did, he had brought down a second cup for the Earl and fixed it as Astre liked. By now, he knew Astre's tastes quite well.

Once done, he set both cups on saucers and made to carry them out to where he heard the teen last.

"I've made you some tea, my lord. I do hope you're in the mood for..."

Rarely in his time, more of late than some number of decades ago, had he ever been stunned to silence. To see Astre sitting on the couch? Not unexpected in the least. They had both found themselves there quite often, more often at the same time. But this... Oh, this?

For a moment, he wondered if something in the surgery behind his eyes had malfunctioned somehow and warped his vision to something... not what it was before. Then the moment passed and reality began to settle in. As it always did, the smile returned to his face.

"Is it a bit too warm in here for your liking, my lord? I see you've gone and left some of your clothing aside this evening."

Never mind that the clothing the teen did have on was, indeed, made of some form of lace.
